/ ABOUT THE PROJECT
For Billy Reid’s Spring 2022 Campaign, I led the concept and overall art and creative direction for the shoot.
The season’s theme, “The Open Road,” captured the spirit of freedom, exploration, and possibility, with Marfa, Texas, serving as the perfect backdrop. Known for its expansive desert landscapes, endless horizons, and artistic energy, Marfa embodies the romance of the open road while offering a distinctly Southern lens—a blend of rugged charm, quiet elegance, and authentic storytelling.
This connection to Southern culture was reflected in the collection’s pieces, which combined lightweight fabrics, versatile layers, and earthy tones with subtle nods to Southern heritage. The unbroken landscapes and warm, dusty palette of Marfa enhanced the aspirational wanderlust and understated sophistication at the heart of the collection.
This 360 campaign spanned e-commerce, social, email, paid ads, and printed catalogs, presenting a cohesive vision of discovery and timeless Southern style.
